Valle registered 23 deaths from covid-19 and more than 1,200 new infections this Thursday

Valle del Cauca reported 23 new deaths from covid-19 this Thursday, according to the daily balance of the Ministry of Health. Of that number, 14 were registered in Cali and three in Tuluá. The other deaths correspond to the municipalities of Palmira, Guacarí, Cartago, Buga, Jamundí and Andalucía.

In addition, the health authorities identified 1,204 new positives in the last day and the regional count reached 93,527 cases.

In Colombia 8,686 new positives were located, raising the total number to 1,174,012, since the health emergency began in the country. However, active cases are decreasing and to date there are 56,254.

179 associated deaths were also reported, so the number of deaths from coronavirus in the country is now 33,491. On the recovered patients they indicated that there are already 1’081.691.

The new positives are located in Bogotá (2,205), Antioquia (1,594), Valle (1,204), Caldas (459), Boyacá (354), Santander (328), Tolima (314), Cundinamarca (309), Norte de Santander ( 233), Quindío (217), Risaralda (165), Huila (157), Nariño (130), Cauca (124), Meta (118) and Cesar (114).

Below the hundred cases are Cartagena (87), Barranquilla (78), Caquetá (65), Atlántico (60), Arauca (58), Casanare (53), La Guajira (49), Córdoba (44), Magdalena ( 35), Santa Marta (26), Sucre (23), Amazonas (21), Chocó (15), Bolívar (13), Putumayo (12), Guaviare (8), San Andrés (2) and Vaupés (2).
