The vote count to elect a new president to USA go ahead and Michigan, who casts 16 votes in the electoral college, gives Joe Biden the upper hand for now, reversing the trend in this state.

Michigan elected a blue president for almost 25 years, until in 2016 he decided to Donald trump with a margin of only 10,704 votes. However, the trend seems to be reversed after the Democratic candidate climbed to first place in the latest updates with a 94% count of the total estimated votes.
This represents an advantage of 18 thousand votes (49.41% to 49.05%) over the Republican.

In the state, it is known that 2.8 million voters they mailed their ballot.
While there are still several states to finish the count, much of the votes that remain to be counted are from Wayne’s count, one of Biden’s strongholds.
