United States | They arrest a Colombian who would have killed his mother in Miami – USA and Canada – International

Miami police arrested a 23-year-old for allegedly stabbing his mother and sister in the southwest of the city.

Univisión warned that the man, named Santiago José Zuleta, faces charges of murder in the second degree and attempted murder.

According to the United States media, on Tuesday around 7:30 pm, the authorities received a call about a woman who had been attacked at 2368 and 26th Street in southwest Miami-Dade County.

The authorities’ report indicates that when the officers arrived they found the two women with multiple injuries and the suspect with a knife in his hand.

Neighbors told Univision that they saw Zuleta attacking and beating the victims.

The victims, identified by the American media América Tevé as Raquel Penagos and Saray Zuleta, were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and an hour later, the mother died. His sister is hospitalized in critical condition.

This medium added that the young man refused to comment.
