Wisconsin to President Donald Trump, who had won it in 2016, according to projections from The New York Times, NPR and CNN.

Minute by minute: Closed final in US: Biden, 248 electoral votes; Trump wears 213

With the 10 delegates it grants Wisconsin, Biden has at least 248 delegates in the Electoral College, compared to the 214 he has accumulated Triumph, in their common goal of reaching the 270 that give the victory.

Wisconsin is, after Arizona, the second state that Biden snatches from Trump with respect to the 2016 results. In addition, the Democrat has also taken away the president’s second district of Nebraska, granted by a single delegate.

According to the provisional tally, Biden won in Wisconsin by a slim margin of 20,510 votes, 49.4% to 48.8%, so the Trump campaign has already called for a recount.

As the margin is less than 1%, Trump has the right to request that recount, although he will have to cover its cost of $ 3 million out of pocket.

Although Biden approaches with the 10 delegates from Wisconsin to the White House, he has yet to win in at least two of the five key states where scrutiny is ongoing: Michigan, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

For now, the former vice president is leading the way in Michigan and Nevada, two states that would give him the exact number of 270 delegates needed to win the election.

Nevada, however, has already announced that it will not deliver results until this Thursday, while Biden’s campaign warned that it hopes to claim victory this Wednesday, so the Democrats can have their eyes on Georgia.
