According to what was announced by the National Tax and Customs Directorate (Dian), the contest, which will allow the entity to have the best human talent in the country, plans to hire 1,500 people.

How will this call be developed?
The call has two phases: the first, an examination of integrity, knowledge and basic skills, and the second phase for missionary positions, a training course.
What are the positions that the entity is offering?
At present, 54.3 percent of Dian’s civil servants are provisional, while 45 percent are administrative careers. With this contest the entity may appoint sectional directors and chiefs, to officials who have all the experience and competence, but who today are provisional.

Under what parameters will the selection of personnel take place?
The thematic axes of the contest will be prepared by the Escuela de la Dian to guarantee that they are consistent with the functions of each position. In addition, this school will have primary relevance in the second phase for the course and training of the entity’s officials.
Will this be the only call that Dian will make in this regard?
No. This is the first of three consecutive competitions that are established in Decree 071 of January 24, 2020, which contemplates the holding of three consecutive competitions during the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, which show the need for the Administrative Career in the entity.
