Cities with more and less unemployment:
The cities that recorded the higher unemployment rates, in the November 2020 – January 2021 quarter were:
1. Quibdó: 21.5 percent (overall participation rate: 50.6 percent; employment rate: 39.7 percent; target underemployment rate: 4.3 percent).
2. Neiva: 21 percent (overall participation rate: 58.5 percent; employment rate: 46.2 percent; target underemployment rate: 8.0 percent).
3. Ibagué: 20.9 percent (overall participation rate: 57.8 percent; employment rate 45.7 percent; target underemployment rate: 7.0 percent).
In contrast, cities with the lowest unemployment rates were:
1. Cartagena: 11.3 percent (overall participation rate: 56.1 percent; employment rate: 49.7 percent; target underemployment rate: 11.1 percent).
2. Barranquilla AM: 12.5 percent (global participation rate: 60.6 percent; employment rate: 53.1 percent; target underemployment rate: 15.2 percent).
3. Pasture: 14.5 percent (overall participation rate: 64.8 percent; employment rate: 55.4 percent; target underemployment rate: 11.6 percent).
