Given this, Migración Colombia reiterated its call to citizens to be responsible and refrain from traveling if they have symptoms or if they have covid-19.

This, taking into account that resolution 532 of December 31, 2020, of the Ministry of Health, established that PCR tests with negative results are required again for all international travelers.

In this way, people must have the PCR test with a negative result, issued at most 96 hours before the flight,
be Colombian or foreign. In addition, before boarding you must report your health status in the Check-Mig application.

However, resolution 002 advises that the boarding of travelers who in the country of origin do not present the negative result of the PCR test must be allowed. only when they state that they had difficulties to take it or to obtain the result in the term stipulated for the flight. In these cases, the traveler is informed that once they enter the country they must carry out the PCR test and keep preventive isolation for 14 days. Isolation may end sooner if the result of the PCR test is negative. It may also be extended by epidemiological criteria.

Travelers must verbally state that they had difficulties to take the test or to obtain the result in the term required prior to the flight; For these purposes, the verbal manifestation of the passenger will be sufficient, which will be understood to be made under the gravity of oath.
