Two policemen are murdered in the south of Bolívar – Other Cities – Colombia

A mayor and a patrolman of the National Police were killed in the municipality of Norosí, south of the department, on the morning of this Thursday.

The uniformed men were identified like Robinson Cardona Arboleda, 37, and Patrolman Yehison Vásquez Martínez, 34.

The latter came from the city of Cartagena.

The attack took place 600 meters from the urban case of the municipality, in the sector known as ‘Quince letras’, from the path La Sabana.

The two policemen were on a motorcycle patrol when they were ambushed.

First information from the police command in Bolívar reveals that the attack was perpetrated by four men who were mobilizing on motorcycles.

The assassins took the manned weapons.

The first hypotheses of the double crime point to ELN guerrillas as responsible, belonging to the ‘Luis José Solano Sepúlveda’ front, who commit crimes in the area.

President Iván Duque, repudiated the fact.
