The Bogotá Fire Brigade had to rescue the injured after the explosion of a factory very close to the San Victorino sector.

An explosion at a factory on Carrera 16 and Calle 13, Los Mártires, injured two people. Personnel from the Centro Histórico de Bomberos de Bogotá station had to approach the site, in the heart of the city.

According to the first versions of the Fire Department, the explosion would have occurred due to the accumulation of gases at the point. The report indicates that two factory workers were affected by the detonation and had to receive pre-hospital care at the point.

This situation occurred a few hours after a fire two blocks away affected a restaurant. The conflagration took place in a place on 13th Street with Caracas Avenue, in the heart of San Victorino. Both cases are reason for investigation to avoid more problems during the days of the holiday season.

The events have also caused serious concern, as the fire has affected more structures in the penultimate fortnight of 2020 than in 2019.
