Rosa Amalia Mendoza Trujillo, 25, was murdered in the municipality of Montecristo (Bolívar), in the middle of a massacre in which four other people died. Manuel Alonso, known in the war as “Romel” or “Carmelo”, was found dead in Miranda, Cauca.
Rosa Amalia Mendoza Trujillo and Manuel Alonso Villegas, former FARC combatants, were assassinated this Sunday, December 27, in the departments of Bolívar and Cauca, respectively. Both exFarc were advancing their reincorporation process in the ETCR of Remedios (Antioquia) and in Monterredondo (Cauca). With these two homicides are 249 the ex-guerrillas assassinated since the signing of the Peace Agreement.
Mendoza, 25, was known in the war as Karen palm and, from his reincorporation space, he worked in the Association of Agrarian and Environmental Housing of the South of Bolívar (Asovisbol) since 2019. According to unofficial sources, his homicide took place in the middle of a massacre in this municipality where four other people from the same family.
His murder this Sunday is added to that of Manuel Alonso Villegas (Romel OR Carmelo), a 55-year-old man who was advancing his reincorporation process in the ETCR of Monterredondo (Miranda, Cauca) and who was found dead on the road that connects Florida (Valle del Cauca) with the municipality of Miranda.

Villegas had been a member of the M-19 and later joined the dissidence of that guerrilla. Years later he joined the Farc where he remained deprived of his freedom from 2013 to 2016, until the signing of the Peace Agreement when, in freedom, he began his reincorporation process.
According to unofficial sources, the former combatant had dedicated himself in recent years to a productive project for the manufacture and printing of T-shirts called “The Legend.”

The murder of Villegas was condemned by several members of the Farc party such as Sandra Ramírez or Luis Alberto Albán, better known as Marco León Calarcá. “Even when?
