Joining two series is not something new on American television (it is known as a crossover), but lately that format of fusion of stories has maintained a significant exposure rhythm, especially in police projects by producer Dick Wolf, the same from Law and order: U. V. E., beside Chicago Fire and Chicago P. D., that they recently did in an episode called One Chicago.
Against this background, and since the recipe works very well for fans (which almost always coincide in both productions), now the FBI and FBI: Most Wanted series join forces in a special chapter that will air on April 28 at 9:50 p.m. m., by the pay television channel Universal.
The plot revolves around the FBI squad asking the FBI team: Most Wanted to help investigate what happened to a suspect who was arrested by agent Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon).
FBI revolves around the missions of Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and her partner, Agent Omar Adom Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), who fight terrorism, organized crime and counterintelligence to support New York City and the America out of danger.
While FBI: Most Wanted is developed from Croix (LaCroy), who oversees a group dedicated to tracking down and capturing the most wanted criminals through an undercover network that works in the field all the time.
“The experience of working on this crossover and with Julian was amazing, he is an incredible actor. It was a very strong emotional and emotional effort. I think fans are going to love how the FBI universe expands through both fictions, but with a very important realistic element, ”actor Zeeko Zaki explained in an interview.
Zaki started his career in Hollywood from below, as an extra, and now he recognized the importance of the police genre in his acting evolution.
“I had a very exciting process until I reached what is now my job. Sometimes it was not so easy to achieve, but after continuing to insist, after a lot of effort and dedication and never stopping, I managed to get here, “he says.
“Now I feel very fortunate to represent the FBI and be on the side of the first response groups, be they firefighters, doctors, police, among others, since they are people who protect otherss and right now, when everything is put into perspective, we want to do it in the best possible way ”, he adds.
Facing the crossover, he explained that it is about both stories being very fluid and maintaining a demanding handling of the real techniques that the FBI uses in real life
.
“We have an FBI adviser who is guiding and teaching us how a real agent really behaves. He is someone who at some point teaches us how to walk or talk, all of which makes you really believe that the character is an FBI agent. ”
For him, the idea is that “What is shown to the public is as close as possible to that work in real life”, It highlights a dynamic that is going to be replicated squared on the screen and possibly will give way to other interactions between both series in the near future.
