In the early hours of this Wednesday, an earthquake occurred that, according to the Colombian Geological Survey, was 5.1 degrees and had as its epicenter La Victoria, in Valle del Cauca.
The telluric movement it was felt strongly, also, in the south and north of Valle del Cauca.
A preliminary report from the SCG indicated that the tremor occurred at 02:57 in the morning.

Among the municipalities close to the earthquake are La Tebaida, in Quindio (as the epicenter), Caicedonia and Obando, both in Valle del Cauca.
Network users reported that the movement was also felt in Planadas, Tolima.

According to information collected by the correspondent in Cali of EL TIEMPO, In Zarzal, a municipality north of Valle del Cauca, the movement was felt with unusual force.
Firefighters went to the area, where neighbors reported the incident. According to the first versions, in addition to feeling strong, the movement lasted a long time.
