The activity was organized by the Undersecretariat of Economic Development and had all the permits. In addition, it complied with biosecurity protocols and had a maximum capacity of 100 people. However, on social networks the rumor rolled that it was an “electronic party”, not authorized.

The rumor of social networks even reached an official of the Mayor’s Office of Cali and on his Twitter account he complained about the fact, but when he found out what it was about he removed the trill. Users of this social network recriminated him for publishing the wrong information and then deleting it. He said he did not know about the activity because it is impossible to find out about all the events that the district administration carries out.

Tatiana Zambrano, Undersecretary of Economic Development, explained that it was about a business fair for the creative industry, which was promoted in advance and which sought to showcase the talent of local DJs, who have been badly hit by the pandemic.

According to the official, a recording of the touches of nine DJs was made that next December 5 will be uploaded to the social networks of the Undersecretariat of Economic Development to be presented to potential buyers of their shows.

In addition, 100 people were invited to generate income for the DJs, but not all attended.
