Tolima exceeds 130 infected with 27 new cases and adds three deaths

Three dead people and 27 infected patients in Tolima, according to a recent report by the National Institute of Health, bringing the number of infected patients to 130.

According to the report, two of the fatal victims are men and one woman; the men were 27 and 25 years old and also had HIV. in the case of the woman of 39 she suffered from polyneuropathy

The last report of the Ministry of Health revealed 568 new cases of contagion by Covid-19 and 18 deaths. In this way, Colombia reaches a total of 11,063 infected and 463 deaths.

Among the 18 deceased there are twelve men: three 45-year-olds of 70 and 80 in Leticia, one 82-year-old in Puerto Nariño (Amazonas), one 95-year-old in Neiva, two 25- and 27-year-olds in Ibagué, four 54-year-olds, 63, 67 and 77 years in Bogotá and one of 89 years in Dagua (Valle). Four cases are under study, the others had comorbidities such as smoking, chronic kidney disease, HIV, kidney disease, hypertension, obesity, epoc and coronary heart disease.

The deaths of six women were also reported: one 39-year-old in Melgar (Tolima), one 49-year-old in Soledad (Atlántico), one 52-year-old in Cartagena, two 65-80 years old in Bogotá and a 3-year-old girl in Payán (Nariño) without comorbidities. The others had a history of polyneuropathy, amitriophic lateral sclerosis, diabetes, chronic kidney failure, COPD, hypertension, and obesity.

We reported 568 new cases: Bogotá (127), Amazonas (94), Cartagena (92), Barranquilla (37), Nariño (34), Huila (31), Tolima (27), Atlántico (26), Meta (25), La Guajira (12), Valle (11), Córdoba (8), Boyacá (6), Bolívar (5), Cauca (5), Norte de Santander (5), Cundinamarca (5), Magdalena (5), Santa Marta (3), Sucre (2), Antioquia (2), Chocó (1), Putumayo (1), Caquetá (1), Quindío (1), Cesar (1) and Casanare (1).
