The authorities are investigating the murder of three young people, members of the same family, in a house in the Bellavista neighborhood, in the Cundinamarca municipality of Soacha.
According to witnesses, armed men arrived at the house who shot at the brothers José Carrascal, 20, and Farid, 23, and his brother-in-law Javier Moreno, who was also the father of a family.
Two of the victims died at the scene, while the other young man was taken to a hospital where he died.
According to the deputy commander of the Cundinamarca Police, Colonel Javier Ayala, “the hypothesis raised so far is that they are micro-trafficking problems in the sector.”
The shocked community narrated what happened and assured that a greater presence of the authorities is needed in the Soacha sector and that several criminal gangs operate in the area.
With verification from cameras in the sector and the collection of testimonies, the authorities are making progress in the investigation of the triple homicide.
