After a meeting with the 125 mayors of Antioquia, Governor Aníbal Gaviria announced what will be the measures that will govern the entire department for the remainder of December and early January.

Starting tomorrow, December 22 and until January 3, there will be a curfew every day from 00:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Gaviria explained that there will be a variation of the curfew; On December 24, this measure will take effect from 8:00 pm and will run uninterruptedly until 6:00 am on December 26.

Likewise, on December 31 the curfew will begin at 8:00 pm and will be in force until 6:00 am on January 2.

In the same way, as of this Tuesday, December 22, there will be a peak measurement and identification card again. On even days, citizens can leave with IDs that end in an even digit and on odd days those that the last digit of their identity document is odd.

“The peak and ID measure will be relative to commercial establishments, NOT mobility,” explained Gaviria.
