26 days after the national government authorized the end of preventive isolation, the department of Quindío reports the highest number of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections: A total of 191, of which 5 are reported as deceased: 3 people from Armenia – 2 men, 79 and 80 years old and a 59 year old woman; a 54-year-old woman from Calarcá and an 80-year-old man from Circasia.
According to the departmental health secretary, of the new infections, 186 are being treated at home, there are none in the intensive care unit, ICU.
By municipalities, the report shows 100 new cases in Armenia, Calarcá 67, La Tebaida 8, Montenegro 2, Circasia 1, Quimbaya 7, Filandia 1, Buenavista 1, Córdoba 3 and Pijao 1.
In this way, the department reaches 3,622 cases, of which 1,071 are active —40 hospitalized, 9 in the ICU.
In Colombia, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, for this Saturday there are 7,721 new cases and 193 deaths.
