The positive image of President Iván Duque is 54 percent, according to a survey by the National Consulting Center released on Monday night by the newscast NotiCentro1 CM &.

According to the opinion survey, 39 percent of those surveyed have a negative image of the head of state and 7 percent of those surveyed did not respond.
The CNC conducted 800 surveys in 25 departments of the country, between September 3 and 4.

The survey also asked the inhabitants of the country’s capital about what image they have of Mayor Claudia López. 65 percent of those consulted said they had a favorable image of the president, while 22 percent said it was negative. There was 13 percent who did not respond.

When it comes to President Duque, 56 percent of the men who responded to the survey said they had a favorable image of the president. In the case of women, that figure was 52 percent.

And the main support for this favorability comes, in light of the results of the CNC study, from people whose ages range between 41 and 55 years. 66 percent of them said they had a favorable image of Duque.

In the regional field, the Caribbean area is the one where the head of state has the most support. There, 66 percent of those surveyed have a favorable image of Duque. And where it has the least is in Bogotá, where the percentage is 34 percent.

According to the survey, among political parties, 92 percent of those who declared themselves from the Democratic Center said they had a favorable image of Duque.

The mayor

According to the survey data, 62 percent of the people who have a positive image of the Bogota president are men, while 67 percent are women. Among those who do not have a good image of her, there is a clear 22 percent tie between female and male sex.

Among those surveyed, the mayor seems to have the highest acceptance among young people, since among people between 18 and 25 years old, 78 percent said they had a favorable image of it.

Among those who claimed to be between 26 and 40 years old, the percentage that said they had a positive image of López was 64 percent.

By social strata, the lower middle is where the Bogotá mayor enjoys the greatest favor. 75 percent of the people from this stratum who responded to the survey said they had a favorable image of her. In the low that percentage is 65 and the middle high 63.

In what has to do with political parties, according to the affiliation that respondents said they had at the time of answering the questions, where the mayor has the greatest favor is the Alianza Verde. 89 percent said they had a favorable image of her.

To this is added that 86 percent of those who said they belonged to Colombia Humana, a movement whose top leader is Senator Gustavo Petro, said they had a favorable image of López.
