Although Dimayor has not made it official, this is how the tournament for those who did not qualify for the finals will be played. For now, Cúcuta is out.

This Monday, after the meeting held by Dimayor, the groups of the eliminated league that will deliver a quota to the playoffs for a ticket to the South American Cup in 2021 were met.

The governing body determined (although it has not yet made it official) to leave Cúcuta Deportivo out, due to its sporting and economic problems, and organized the groups according to geographical location to avoid very long transfers.

This is how the groups were formed:

Group A: Envigado, Medellín, Águilas de Rionegro and Pereira.

B Group: Millonarios, Once Caldas, Patriotas and Boyacá Chicó.

Group C: Alianza Petrolera, Jaguares and Bucaramanga.

The games will begin this Thursday and Friday according to the calendar approved by the governing body. The first two zones will have three dates, while the last one will only have two.

This Wednesday there will be another meeting to define the situation of Cúcuta Deportivo, but it is most likely that the groups will remain.
