Emiliano Alcides Osorio, alias ‘Caín’, head of the gang ‘los Caparros’, was one of the most wanted criminals in the country. Due to its location, a reward of 500 million pesos was offered.
However, he walked without problem through Tarazá (Antioquia), ensuring that he was protected by his bodyguards, his 8 handcuffs and a tattoo on the arm with which he shot: the right one. Thus he had been trafficking and executing an extermination plan against the ‘Gulf clan’, until this Monday, when he was located by the Police.

“In 2018, deaths increased in all their forms and characteristics, and alias Caín was the person who ordered the execution of any stranger or who generated any doubt for the leader,” said the official source.
In an operation in a rural area of the municipality of Taraza (Antioquia), ‘Caín’ died in a confrontation with the authorities.
The plan included assigning a group of hit men to carry out acts and deeds against family members and people close to the ‘Gulf clan’, including young people and women who used to communicate with the close circle of alias ‘Otoniel’, their top leader; and with Chiquito Malo and Marihuano.

“They used torture and dismemberment as a method of criminal coercion. And he said that he used witchcraft to protect himself and locate his enemies. ‘Cain’ had tattoos of wolves on his arms, 8 handcuffs on his arms and feet (…) It had a green handle, which its security members said was to prevent the National Police from neutralizing it, “says an intelligence officer.
For this reason, when the special group of special forces said they had killed him, in Tarazá they believed it was a mistake.
In fact, although the morphological characteristics corresponded to alias Cain, the body was transferred to Legal Medicine, for confirmation by fingerprint comparison. The transfer of the body was done by the Rifles battalion, located in Caucasia.
