They violently murder a Colombian in Spain – Investigative Unit

The violent death of a young Colombian shook Christmas in El Viso de San Juan, a town located in Toledo (Spain) of less than 5,000 inhabitants.

The Spanish Civil Guard is preparing to send the victim’s ten fingerprints to his peers in Colombia to establish if he had a history and to locate his family.

What has so far emerged is that the crime occurred between midnight on December 24 and early morning on December 25, on the first floor of number 5 Gaviota Street.

Local authorities are checking security cameras both in the residential building and in neighboring streets in search of those responsible.

Other Colombians who lived on the same floor are also being questioned who indicated that the victim had been in the house for a short time, where several compatriots used to spend the night for short periods.

The Court of First Instance and Instruction number 5 of Illescas took over the investigation and immediately decreed the secrecy of the proceedings.

Consular authorities of Colombia already have information on the case and the Colombian Police assured that so far the request of the Civil Guard has not arrived.
