They reported ten more deaths from covid-19 this Tuesday in the Valley, five of them in Cali

The Ministry of Health reported 5,015 new cases of covid-19 in the country on Tuesday and raised the national report to 924,098 infected, since the health emergency began in Colombia. Of that number 87,160 are active. They also reported 156 associated deaths, for which 28,141 patients have died in the national territory.

Regarding those recovered, they indicated that 8,307 were reported in the last 24 hours and now the total figure is 806,703.

The Health portfolio detailed that there were ten deaths from covid-19 in Valle del Cauca, five of them in Cali. The other deaths correspond to the municipalities of Yumbo, Obando, Buga, Tuluá and Palmira.

In addition, infections in the region increased to 70,557 with 364 new positives located.

Most of the new positives are distributed in Bogotá (1,461), Antioquia (1,030), Valle (364), Santander (276), Meta (207), Cundinamarca (206), Huila (194), Tolima (187), Boyacá (157), Caldas (140) and Cauca (113).

Below the hundred cases are Quindío (97), Córdoba (74), Cesar (64), Santa Marta (64), Barranquilla (59), Nariño (53), Cartagena (42), Casanare (42), Magdalena ( 37), Norte de Santander (37), La Guajira (26), Caquetá (22), Atlántico (16), Risaralda (14), Sucre (11), Arauca (10), Bolívar (5), Guaviare (2) , Putumayo (2), Vichada (2) and San Andrés (1).
