The Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday 7,102 new positives of covid-19 in Colombia and raised the total number to 777,537 infected, since the health emergency began in the country. Of that number, there are 100,541 active cases.

They also reported 173 deaths associated with the coronavirus in the last day, of which 156 belong to previous days. Deaths caused by the disease total 24,570 throughout the national territory, while the recovered patients increased to 650,801 in this bulletin, with 9,901 people who overcame the contagion.

In Valle del Cauca they account for 20 deaths, of which thirteen correspond to Cali. The other deaths occurred in the municipalities of Palmira (2), Candelaria, Yumbo, Buenaventura, Guacarí and Tuluá. In addition, the number of infected in the region now stands at 58,848 people.

The new infections are distributed in Bogotá (1,840), Antioquia (902), Valle (565), Santander (425), Córdoba (377), Meta (286), Risaralda (281), Huila (267), Cundinamarca (253) , Norte de Santander (221), Cauca (209), Cartagena (192), Tolima (192), Sucre (148), Boyacá (116), Caldas (109), Cesar (100), Barranquilla (85), Nariño ( 78), Quindío (76), Santa Marta (72), Atlántico (55), La Guajira (50), Magdalena (48), San Andrés (34), Casanare (21), Bolívar (20), Vaupés (19) , Putumayo (16), Guainía (13), Chocó (7), Guaviare (7), Amazonas (6), Arauca (4), Caquetá (4) and Vichada (4).
