One of the criminals they recorded was alias ‘Carlos’, the first target of a group of men from the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office who infiltrated a dangerous sector of the San Bernardo neighborhood, in the center of Bogotá, because they had information that the minor, 15 years old, was being held in a house that serves as a drug store.
In a video of the Police, which released Snail News, it was captured alias ‘Carlos’ when he unloaded several tarpaulins from the same cart where, according to investigators, the lifeless body of Linda Michelle Amaya was transported through that sector.
This man, who has already been captured, was, according to the authorities, one of the designated trusted criminals of the ‘Tazmania’ gang, and a graph shown by the Police shows the route he made with the cart.
“It was taken out in a cart, and we know that the cart was damaged at the corner of Third Street,” explained one of the officers who participated in the investigation.
It was due to this accident, apparently a puncture in one of the wheels, that the man threw the lifeless body in a house that is in the process of being demolished, and that is near the property where they tortured and murdered the minor.
The Police also recorded the Daza brothers, known by the aliases of ‘Chepe’ and ‘Andrés’, whom they claim to be the gang’s ‘security chiefs’.
“They are in charge, within this organization, of the security of the sale of narcotics in the neighborhood, what is known as ‘Sayayines’, added the officer, according to the recording.
These two men, explained the Prosecutor’s Office, received orders from the leader of the gang to steal the victim’s belongings, and in complicity with “aliases ‘El veneco’ and ‘Tito’, they ended up beating this girl, it is say to torture her. They laughed and enjoyed what they did ”.
These are the faces of the three named criminals.

What did Michelle Amaya go to in the San Bernardo neighborhood, where she was murdered?
In a first statement given to Pulzo by the child’s mother, Nathalie Amaya, it was said that Michelle frequented the area because days before her disappearance (November 30), “her cell phone had been stolen at the station on Avenida Jiménez.”
This version was confirmed on the news by the commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, General Óscar Gómez, and said that that day the minor went to look for the man who stole her things.
“She arrived there (around 7 pm on November 30), apparently looking for the person who had stolen her cell phone, and there she was intercepted by these criminals and, according to the information we have, they proceeded to steal her belongings, “said the officer.
This detailed investigation sheds light on what happened with the mysterious disappearance of Michelle Amaya, as her family spent a month searching for her until they received the worst news: that they had found her dead.
This Caracol News report shows part of the operation to capture the aforementioned murderers, who have already been prosecuted.
