They are Yeferson Marcial Angulo Quiñones and Juan Carlos Loaiza Ocampo, the two men who were arrested last August and who, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, are responsible for the murder of the five minors perpetrated a few days earlier.
At the time, The Prosecutor’s Office said that these two men were guards of the canyon where the bodies of the young men were found and that without a word they shot them with firearms and a knife when they entered said property.
Days later the suspects had been sent to prison, although they denied that they were workers from that place and They did not accept the charges.
But now Blu Radio broadcast the indictment of Angulo Quiñones and Loaiza Ocampo in which The Prosecutor’s Office not only affirms that they did participate in the crime but that they committed a kind of torture.
“Roles were assigned, tasks were distributed, essential contributions were made that were executed and consummated; because the minors were persecuted, locked up, subjected and murdered with a firearm, ”the document reads.
However, the Prosecutor’s Office does not contemplate any charges for this mistreatment, but rather It accuses them of the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacture, carrying and trafficking of firearms or ammunition for which they could receive a sentence of up to 60 years without the right to benefits.
That particular aspect also caught the attention of the lawyer Elmer Montaña, who represents one of the families of the five victims, and who in a video provided more details of what would have been the last moments of the young people:
“These two individuals, in the company of Daniel Alejandro Bejarano, ambushed, subjected by force these five boys in Llano Verde; They made them kneel and made them defenseless, tortured two of them in the most cruel way and then murdered them ”.
In that sense, said the jurist, It is strange for the victims that they are not accused of the crime of torture despite the fact that Legal Medicine found that it was the case. This is his explanation:
