The Administrative Court of Cundinamarca opened an incident of contempt for President Iván Duque related to the presence of the US advisory mission in Colombia.

The contempt incident was opened at the request of several opposition congressmen, who consider that the president did not comply with a guardianship order that had ordered the suspension of the legal effects of that mission until the Senate gave an endorsement in this regard.

This guardianship ruling was appealed by the National Government and the case is under study by the State Council, which must issue a definitive ruling in the coming weeks.
