A truck in which some school kits were transported to be delivered to an indigenous reservation, He was the victim of robbers when he was moving around the town of Tasajera, Magdalena.

The stolen items had been acquired through donations and were in charge of the Diez Foundation, represented by Laura Osorio, who denounced the situation.

According to Osorio, the vehicle in which she and her husband were traveling was moving from Barranquilla to Santa Marta and at a rise on the Troncal del Caribe highway, near Tasajera, was intercepted by criminals.

Although the car did not stop at any time, the people who got in the back looted all the merchandise.

The school kits would be donated to the Chimila indigenous community of Naara Kajmanta, in Gaira, and in the Oásis neighborhood, northeast of Santa Marta.

Laura Osorio stated that Fundación Diez is offering a reward for the recovery of the stolen items.

Likewise, they filed a complaint with the Prosecutor’s Office in the capital of Magdalena.
