A 16-year-old minor and her boyfriend were killed by men with firearms in Mercaderes, a municipality located in the southwest of Cauca.
The most worrying thing is that the adolescent was part of the families affected by the conflict, with displacements and murders in that department. She was a beneficiary of the Victims Unit.
The way the crime occurred recalled the massacre of the eight young people who were chatting at a party in the Santa Catalina village, in Samaniego (Nariño), on August 15.

The double crime this weekend happened in Villa Paz, in Mercaderes.
According to reports to the authorities, armed men violently entered a house where the couple was.

The teenager’s boyfriend, 16, was identified as Kevin Rivero, 20.
The Police and the Prosecutor’s Office also seek to determine whether the murders in September of last year of Fabián Ojeda and his wife, who were relatives of the murdered minor, are related.

The bodies of Ingrith Dayana Ojeda and Kevin Rivero were transferred to the Legal Medicine headquarters in Popayán.
