They indict businessman for reselling tickets

The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with the crimes of aggravated exhaustion (speculation to modify the prices of products), private corruption and conspiracy to commit a crime.

All this around the tickets for the match in which the national team faced Brazil, on September 5, 2017, in a match valid for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in Russia.

According to the investigation, 13,854 tickets would have been sold above the defined price.

The tickets, which actually had a cost close to 2,840 million pesos, were sold for 5,900 million. That is to say, “that the representatives of the company, apparently, obtained an approximate profit of 3,105 million pesos”, detailed the entity.

Additionally, the Prosecutor’s Office found that, in view of the public complaint about the possible resale, TicketYa offered 6,000 tickets to the public fictitiously through the web because they were never for sale.

In this case there are at least 18 natural persons investigated, among which are Luis Bedoya, Ramón Jesurún, Álvaro González and Jorge Fernando Perdomo; directors and former directors of Colombian soccer who are also involved in other scandals.

In addition, the Ministry of Sports also carries out its own investigations against these people. But, in addition, the case also affects some legal entities such as the Colombian Football Federation (FCF), Ticketshop and TicketYa.
