Thanks to the articulation with the Police, the Itagüí Ombudsman, the Prosecutor’s Office and the CTI, they managed to find the whereabouts of the 11-year-old minor who had been missing since last November 4.
Juanita, as the girl will be called to protect her identity, lived in the village of El Ajizal where she was allegedly kidnapped by Carlos, a Venezuelan who had gained the trust of her mother.
After learning the facts, they undertook the search and yesterday the authorities of the Bolívar department disclosed the case of a suspicious man in the San José de Turbaquito neighborhood of the Arjona municipality and when carrying out verification tasks, they actually found Juanita.

Immediately the family police station rescued the girl and the National Police left this man at the disposal of the competent authorities.
The girl’s mother left for Cartagena to reunite with her daughter, the Mayor of Itagüí announced.
