The anguish of a Caleña, who had not heard from her husband for almost six days, finally ended, as the authorities confirmed that the man appeared alive.
This is Fausto Newall, a Providencia resident fisherman who had not been heard from since last Friday, November 13, when Hurricane Iota reached the island.
The 45-year-old man was found Thursday afternoon while driving a truck. Newall spoke in a video that was posted on social media.

“I’m still alive, thanks to everyone who has been watching me, I thank you very much,” said Fausto.
Apparently, the fisherman was left completely incommunicado after the strong hurricane devastated his home and destroyed his waxes.
It should be remembered that the Iota reached category 5 according to the Saffir-Simpson scale, the hurricane would have had sustained winds of up to 259 kilometers per hour.
I KNEW IT, I PRESENTED IT !!!
HE IS ALIVE, FAUST IS ALIVE !!!!!!
