The military met the teenager while conducting a search of the area of the bombing. When meeting with the uniformed, the minor asked that they did not harm her, that she was unarmed and that she had been lost in that place for many days.

According to the newspaper Time, the minor would have explained that she had been in the dissidents for three years because her father is a member of this armed group and that he asked that they also recruit her.
