Dominic Wolf has become famous on social media thanks to the positive content he shows from Colombia. Gastronomy, typical dances, culture and tourist sites are shown to the world from your account.
Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Dominic had to return to his country. His passport to come to Colombia expired and, when he renewed it, they did not give him authorization.
The influencer affirmed that he has a sustainable tourism company registered in Colombia and that for five years he has paid visas, taxes and even social security in the country.
Dominic Wolf said that his wish is to live in Colombia and that he feels that Germany is not his home.
The Colombian Foreign Ministry spoke on the subject. Through a statement, he stated that “what happens is that his initial application does not correspond to his immigration status. For the type of resident visa to which it applied, the person must have remained in Colombia uninterruptedly for five years and, as this requirement is not met, the initial application is not admitted.
The ministry recommended that he take advantage of the immigration status that is appropriate to his situation.
Meanwhile, Dominic Wolf hopes that they can renew the visa he had been driving to return to Colombia. He says he does not want special treatment just for making positive videos of the country, but that he is treated fairly.
