The religious leader Arturo Salgado Pérez was captured by the Police when he was pointed out by a minor under 12 years of being responsible for continuously abusing her sexually, apparently with the complicity of a relative of the victim.

The case was discovered this Monday, because the little girl presented vaginal bleeding that forced her to be transferred to the Sandiego hospital in Cereté.
The medical care included the route of attention to the risk of rape, with which the doctors established that there were injuries in her body that evidenced a violent access.
It was then that the little girl told the doctors who treated her that she was repeatedly a victim of rape, pointing out Pastor Arturo Salgado Pérez as the directly responsible.
Once the case was known to the Police, a group of uniformed men began the search for the alleged perpetrator. But the work did not have major efforts on the part of the researchers.
After learning of the emergency, Salgado arrived at the health center in order to know the state of the little girl’s health and apparently, he offered money to the little girl’s grandmother in order to buy her silence.

Without achieving his intentions, the accused pastor Arturo Salgado Pérez was captured by Police agents and it will be made available to the competent authority.
In the investigation of the relatives, the grandmother said that she is in charge of raising the girl and two other brothers. Regarding the attitude of the pastor, he said that he never suspected his bad intentions.
“Pastor Arturo was trustworthy, we had a lot of relationship with him and his wife, I have known him for a long time, my granddaughters are like my daughters, I am raising them, the mother is ill, they were going to spend their vacations where he was Montería, “said the minor’s grandmother.
He said the pastor exhibited a behavior typical of preachers of religious faith, which helped him gain the trust of his family.

“He always came to my house with his blessing to help me, but I never believed that he would be doing bad things, we are a low-income family, my lord works daily and I am old, washing other people’s clothes to live, and I feel very sad that this man and a relative named Carlos Osorio, who also abused who knows since when ”, said the old woman.
