Sources from the National Police confirmed to EL TIEMPO that around two in the afternoon the arrest warrant against patrolman Harby Ramírez Díaz was enforced, involved in the death of the rights student Javier Ordóñez, in events recorded in Bogotá, on September 9.
Ramírez did not resist his capture and it took place in the Bosa sector, south of the capital.
The Police, who has been suspended from service for a week, was notified of the arrest warrant against him, for the crime of aggravated homicide.

On the morning of this Thursday, a judge issued an arrest warrant for Ramírez and Juan Camilo Lloreda Cubillos, who were involved in Ordóñez’s death.

Apparently the patrolman Lloreda Cubillos, is organizing personal affairs, and will give way to his surrender to the authorities in the next few hours.
This morning it was possible to speculate that the two patrol cars had fled, because when they went to look for them at the points they left as a place of residence, they were not found.

With the capture of the two patrol cars, the National Police will proceed to remove them from the institution.
The patrollers Ramírez and Lloreda were recorded in a video in which it is observed how they subdue Javier Ordóñez, repeatedly activating his taser, despite the pleas of the man who was on the floor.

In addition, Ordóñez and a friend were transferred to the CAI of Villa Luz, where according to testimonies, several uniformed men beat Ordóñez.
Affirm that The 43-year-old man arrived without vital signs at the clinic to which he was transferred.
Within the internal investigations of the Police, it was decided to remove from service 7 uniformed men, who have been questioned for their actions the night Ordóñez died.
