Dismayed are the members of the Common Alternative Revolutionary Force (FARC) party in Antioquia, upon discovering that the body found inside an incinerated mattress in the municipality of Bello, North of the Aburrá Valley, corresponded to that of Wilder Daniel Marín Alarcón, 22 years, one of its members.
The discovery occurred at 7:30 pm on Thursday in a green area located on Carrera 58B with Calle 31, Cabañas neighborhood. On the site, judicial experts from the CTI of the Prosecutor’s Office were in charge of the technical inspection of the body, which at that time was transferred to Legal Medicine as CNI (unidentified body), since it did not carry their identity documents.
The body is presumed to have been pulled from a public service vehicle.
Alejandro Pérez, a member of the local leadership of the party, said that Marín Alarcón left his home that same day to visit a friend in the Paris neighborhood, also in Bello, and before the time for the ringing of the band to begin. It remains that it governs in the locality, he was called by his mother, but he did not answer his cell phone.
“Already in the morning (Friday) he tried again and did not respond, so the mother immediately contacted us to inform us that she did not appear and did not answer her cell phone. The party activated the search protocol and in the afternoon they informed us that they had found a body in Bello. The family went to recognize the corpse and it was just that body ”Pérez said.

Through a press release titled siguen They keep killing us, ’the party reported that Wilder Daniel was studying, was financially responsible for his mother, and was linked to reinstatement as an associate at the Cooperativa Multiactiva Tejiendo Paz (Cootepaz).

“Daniel is the third signer of the Havana Peace Agreement assassinated in the Valle de Aburrá Metropolitan Area, number 27 in Antioquia and 196 in the entire country, but we do not want it to be one more number in this extermination plan against the signatories of the peace, and that is why we demand prompt responses from the authorities and a real commitment to the implementation of the agreement, “says part of the letter.

For this murder, at 10:00 last night, the party invited its members and friends to light a candle.
UN rejection
The UN Verification Mission in Colombia also ruled on what happened. He did so by means of a press release in which he rejected the murder of the young man and reiterated his concern about the murders of former Farc members, as well as those of social leaders and human rights defenders in the country.
“The Mission urges the deepening of measures for the dismantling of criminal organizations and their support networks, in order to guarantee the safety of ex-combatants, social leaders, and human rights defenders”, the statement concludes.
