A policeman was shot in the face by a criminal who was mobilizing as a barbecue on a motorcycle that was required for suspicious movements in the town of Suba, western Bogotá.
Two uniformed men stopped the two men who were walking around a neighborhood in the area and it was at the corner of 133rd street and Villas avenue where the subject got off the motorcycle, drew a pistol from his jacket and shot it in the face of the policeman.
The gunman ran off and the motorcycle driver also fled. Meanwhile, the other uniformed man remained helping his injured companion.

Finally, the mayor was transferred to the La Colina clinic, where he underwent surgery and, so far, his condition is stable. He’s in the intensive care unit.
Authorities ask the community for information that may contribute to the capture of this criminal. He must answer to justice for the brutal attack on the policeman, who works at CAI Tierra Linda, and is considered highly dangerous.
According to security cameras, the attack took place around 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 11.
