The 13th sectional Prosecutor’s Office in Valledupar filed charges against Rafael Santos De Armas Barreras, 25 years old.
According to the victim’s testimony, this man would have raped her on April 26, when he was walking his pet, in a desolate area, in the Francisco de Paula neighborhood, in the southwestern part of this capital. The man forced her to enter a house under construction where he would have abused her after threatening and wounding her with a knife.
“She states that she went for a walk with her puppy outside the park of her house …, that when she was in the park she was approached by an unknown subject who threatened her with a knife, forced her and put her in the dead end there and she consented carnally, the product of which she struggled to avoid being accessed was injured in one of her fingers and caused some personal injuries, ”explained the prosecutor Claudia Paola Fuentes.
Although the defendant pleaded not guilty, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that it had sufficient evidence to prove the responsibility of this man.
The next hearing against him will be held on December 11, 2020.
