William Vallejo, head of that office, explained that in the case of private vehicles, the prohibition of circulation in the urban perimeter of the capital of the Valley will be in the period of time between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, and between 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, taking as reference the last digit of the plate as follows:

Monday, January 4: 3 and 4
Tuesday, January 5: 5 and 6
Wednesday, January 6: 7 and 8
Thursday, January 7: 9 and 0
Friday, January 8: 1 and 2

The restriction also applies to vehicles entering and / or leaving Cali from and to the rest of the country.

However, it does not apply to Saturdays, Sundays and holidays established by law or when exceptionally established by the competent authority.

Regarding the exceptions, motorcycles and vehicles that have completed their respective accreditation process will continue to be exempt.

As for taxi-type public service vehicles, in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Mobility, the restriction on circulation will continue at the same time (from 6:00 am to 5:00 am the next day) and will be resumed Monday, January 4.

Monday, January 4: 1 and 2
Tuesday, January 5: 3-4
Wednesday, January 6: 5 and 6
Thursday, January 7: 7 and 8
Friday January 8: 9 and 0

It should be remembered that every year, on the 15th day of January, the peak and plate are lifted, because there are few vehicles circulating. However, to start 2021 the measure will be maintained because people traveled less and due to mobility restrictions throughout the country, the automotive fleet in Cali is high.
