“It has been a different year, full of challenges. This May 10 we will celebrate Mother’s Day but from @MincomercioCo we want to propose an additional celebration. We deserve to honor our mothers all together, as a family. ”

For this commemoration, the president of the union, Jaime Alberto Cabal, assured that commerce and the gastronomy sector will support the two dates, as quoted by La República:
“This initiative determined by the Ministry gives us the possibility of having two different scenarios to celebrate mothers. It is our commitment, that of all organized commerce and that of the gastronomy sector, to support these two dates and accompany Colombian families ”
The idea is that merchants, who have been greatly affected by the quarantine, have the opportunity to recover on this date, the second most important of the year.
