The Marinilla Administration seeks the implementation of a public policy for comprehensive care of the elderly due to the fact that the municipality has a high number of older adults who require special attention.
This is focused on “different gerontological programs such as tourism, the institutionalization of the elderly, physical education and the economic subsidy for the elderly.”
According to the Administration, in Marinilla there are around 6,000 older adults who need special care, accompaniment and support in different initiatives, of which the authority indicates only covers half of these.
