A coalition of different alternative forces makes up Dignidad, the political movement in which Senator Jorge Enrique Robledo will be, who made his departure from Polo official last weekend.
Robledo separated from the community together with the Moir sector and although the legal status or recognition remained in the Pole, Robledo will continue with his seat in the Senate.
After this step, Dignidad was formed, a movement in which Robledo will participate and of which the main guidelines were known this Wednesday.
Among these postulates are economic development with a social focus, protection of the environment and defense of minority sectors of the population, among others.
The opposition congressman spoke of his departure from Polo and said that in that party “we contribute to do very positive things for Colombia.”

According to Robledo, what happened with the Polo was that “this project, in our case, was running out” and “internal contradictions appeared that we could not resolve, to the point that we came to the conclusion that this was the best we could. do”.
“We are pending that the National Electoral Council, given the fact that we formally and legally process our split from the Polo, grant us a legal status that has the same rights as anyone in Colombia,” said Robledo.

It should be remembered that legal status allows political parties and movements to receive state funding and endorse candidates for elections and, according to the law, this is achieved by reaching Congress.

Among the directives of the new political movement, the former candidate for the governorship of Santander Leonidas Gómez, who is its president; the representative to the Chamber Jorge Gómez and the former Congresswoman Alba Luz Pinilla.
Likewise, the presence of the student leader Jennifer Pedraza and the union leader Diógenes Orjuela stands out.
