In one of the closest elections in decades, Donald Trump and Joe Biden are fighting head-to-head for the presidency of the United States. At dawn on Wednesday, October 4, there was a change in trend and the Democratic candidate was left with key states such as Wisconsin. And although everything indicates that Biden would win the contest, for his part, President Trump has spared no words to accuse alleged irregularities in the vote counting process in several of the states that will define electoral day.
In a live broadcast from Washington, Luis Carlos Vélez, a RCN journalist, known in Colombia for his increasingly clear right-wing positions, suggested that to avoid a confrontation it would be best for Biden to step aside and have chivalry to leave victory to Trump. This is the video:
Incredible this. In full count and with all the options to win, Luis Carlos Vélez asks Joe Biden to resign to avoid Trump’s tantrum. International spread of ignorance. Gem you found @elcachaco. pic.twitter.com/WK1eYPf5q7

Before his statements, social networks do not stop with mockery, memes and jokes against the journalist and his statements that are already viral and have put his name as a great trend in Colombia.
In an “act of chivalry” they should give the title to @Santa Fe.

In a complete act of chivalry, Luis Carlos Vélez should withdraw from the media and stop making a fool of himself.

It would have to be a very great act of chivalry by Winston Churchill to say: I don’t want a very big struggle in this country and I am going to surrender, because on the other side Adolf Hitler is going to make this war much longer.

If I do not see it, I do not believe it. @lcvelez Says Biden must step aside and concede Trump victory in ‘act of chivalry’; As who says, so that they do not fight, so that there is no bonche, so that there is no crowd.
Haha. Can not be. pic.twitter.com/HlADiXCPxD
