The president spoke through their social networks, where he shared a video stating that Bogotá is not in an extreme situation, despite being the area of ​​Colombia that frequently reports more cases of COVID-19.

“We have had a significant increase, but we have been able to assign patients to hospitalization and intensive care units”, initially noted.

Then, Claudia Lopez he referred to the figures, which he said were not alarming: “We continue to have an average occupancy of 65% in ICU COVID, which is quite acceptable.”

In addition, he clarified that there is no imminence of collapse: “At this moment we do not have a concern of risk for the hospital system. In general, the situation is stable ”.

Finally, he indicated that there will be no shortage of medicines for those who need them: “The Emergency Regulation Center does not report major difficulties. We are calm on that front ”.
