The surveillance and control entity was able to verify the complaints made by users against Rappi, related to delays in the delivery of the products purchased, the marketing of alcoholic beverages to minors, delays and cancellation of orders during the celebration of Mother’s Day in Colombia, as well as possible quality failures in the service called “Rappifavor” and insufficient information regarding its conditions.

If the violation of the indicated norms is confirmed, Rappi could be sanctioned with a fine equivalent to up to 2,000 minimum wages current monthly legal (smlmv), that is, about 1,800 million pesos. The SIC also warned that no recourse should be made against this administrative act.

According to the SIC, possible violations of consumer rights are related to:

● Lack of quality in the provision of the service, based on the high number of
complaints received by RAPPI between July 1 and December 10, 2019, as well as
as from March 1 to 10, 2020 and May 10, 2020, the day it was held
the “Mother’s Day”, and that were related to breaches in the times
delivery, order cancellations, among others, which totaled 61,248
complaints.

● Quality failures in the provision of the service, for not updating the information in

service called “Rappifavor”, for reasons of cancellation of the service, the no
