From September 14 to October 15, the tower’s normal opening hours are from 10:30 (8:30 GMT) to 6:30 (16:30 GMT).

The pandemic caused by coronavirus forced a shutdown for security reasons for more than three months. It was the longest since World War II and its reopening took place on June 25.

At that time, the magnificent Parisian tower took advantage of its symbolism to join the demonstrations of solidarity towards medical personnel and victims of the virus with the installation, for example, of a luminous poster that for two hours at night sent messages of support to the affected.
