The Dian will open a call for employment by merit with 1,500 jobs

The National Tax and Customs Directorate (Dian) signed an agreement with the National Civil Status Commission to call for meritocracy and define 1,500 positions in the entity.

The director of the Dian, José Andrés Romero, explained that the participants in the call will carry out a series of courses and trainings to outline the positions.

“This is so that, from the first day they are in Dian, they come in with better skills and updated knowledge to carry out the work in the entity,” he said.

The official explained that the 1,500 vacancies are nationwide and are distributed among facilitators, that is, for care positions where it is not required to be professional; technical and professional positions.

The director of resource management and economic administration of Dian, Gabriela Barriga, pointed out that the courses of the process will have quality trainers and added how the work methodology will be.

“What is coming now is to start managing the entire record of the people who are going to participate in the call so that they apply and then they will begin to verify the requirements and who can access the vacancies to take the courses and entrance exams that They are divided into two: basic skills and technical knowledge, and those who pass this first stage will have to take in-depth courses, “he said.

Romero stressed that this type of merit call will also be held in 2021 and 2022, in order to generate an update at the plant.

Finally, the director of the entity outlined that, this morning, Dian fulfilled the last step for the creation of the Dian Fund for Colombia and, unanimously, the representatives of Congress approved the project.

“We will be able to continue advancing in this transformation process,” he concluded.
