“Like chickens in a shed”, so the journalist Erika Zapata would say when she saw the endless line that took place on August 29 on the road that leads from Chia to the municipality of Cota after the reopening of the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant. From the restaurant, which had been closed for almost six months, it was evident that there was little social distance to enter, very different from what was presented inside with a limited capacity, separate tables and biosecurity protocols.
The restaurant sector has been one of the hardest hit by the pandemic, many of them have had to lay off employees, send them on vacation, unpaid leave or even the total closure of establishments.
The reopening of sectors, such as restaurants, require biosecurity protocols to be in place, so Andrés Carne de Res attended on August 29 only with prior reservation, but the line and the behavior of the people at the entrance left a lot be desired.
At the moment, it is a sector that has to adjust its protocols little by little, as well as the others, and people do their part to avoid a new closure, which if so could be even more catastrophic for the country’s economy.
Some of the comments of the people in networks were:
Me watching Andrés Carne de Res’s line of 200 people. pic.twitter.com/UEMruy241y

People, it is not Andres Carne de Res’s fault for the line, it is not the fault of the large supermarkets the agglomeration for the purchase of televisions.
It’s our fault we’re individually smart but collectively stupid, or don’t ask the toilet paper folks.

Do not judge those who are queuing at Andres Carne de Res they need to reaffirm their ass and imaginary status to upload it on Istagram ♥ ️😒

It makes me happy and I think it’s super cool to see Andres Carne de Res open. Why do they criticize so much without knowing? For a photo of a row? … it is very likely that they have a good handling inside … it does not seem rushed to criticize.

There are people crying because they saw a line to enter Andrés Carne de Res, it seems that people do with their money and their health what they want. How did you expect the reopening to be? The National Park was also terrible, people without masks sweating and no distancing.

Well, the envious and resentful criticize the lines for Andres Carne de Res, but not to buy dog meat and sign marijuana in the National Park pic.twitter.com/cVKDPhkuhO

Paradoxical that they go as cattle to the Andrés Carne de Res restaurant, I understand that they go out out of necessity, but because they eat in the middle of a pandemic? The confinement definitely atrophied their brain. I hope they have coupons to the morgue #NewNormality @Alexandrapenha @AyarzaAyarka pic.twitter.com/JgFpbwCJeo
