The confessions of the Montaner family in their first song together, Amen

The Montaner family released their first joint song on Wednesday, ‘Amen’, a song in which, according to an interview with EFE, they show a side that “we had never exhibited before.”

The song, composed by the five, is a prayer in which the members of this family of musicians share their most internal fears, their deepest despair, their most heartfelt anguish, they said.

“We have never been so vulnerable,” said Mau Montaner, the youngest of Ricardo Montaner’s sons, who approved the comment, as did the brothers and brother-in-law.

The song, a kind of musical prayer supported by violins and in which the mantras of the theme “Amen” and “Take care of me” are interspersed, shows the traces of all those who collaborated.

At times it sounds like Montaner’s great ballads, at times like Mau and Ricky’s ‘reguepop’, as well as Camilo’s urban bohemian, and it also reflects the sweetness of Eva Luna’s melodies. The mother, Marlene Montaner, was the director of the video.

Montaner dad He explained that the idea to do the song came to him at the end of 2019.

“People always asked us when we would do something all together and I wanted it to be a song that could last over time, not one of those that becomes fashionable for a month and then is forgotten,” he explained.

The goal was to make “a hymn” that was not tied to a particular moment. Therefore, although it had been ready for months, they decided to wait.

“We did not want it to be associated solely with the pandemic, but since this has been prolonged and we know the suffering that many people are experiencing, we think it is necessary now,” said Ricky.

Among all participants of the song there are almost 100 million who follow them on social networks.

Camilo stands out, the Latin artist with the most followers on TikTok, and who has almost 54 million followers on that social network, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.

His wife, who stars in the Nickelodeon series “Club 57,” and his brothers, with hits like “Papás,” “Desconocidos,” “La Grosera,” and “La Boca,” have about 20 million followers.

“People also tell us that our life is rosy. With this theme we also want you to realize that we too have our difficult moments. In ‘Amen’ we describe them and express our relationship with God”Stated Camilo.

The Montaners will spend their Christmases in a cabin in upstate New York, surrounded by snow and away from the tropical bustle of Miami, because, they explained, they needed to “recharge batteries.”

Montaner and Camilo have already completed their next albums and will dedicate themselves to promoting them in 2021, while Eva Luna says she wants to make movies and is already preparing her new music. Mau and Ricky focus on returning “safely” to the stage and neither rule out the arrival of a baby for next year.
