The police overseer Armando Vergara has just denounced threats against his life due to an approach he had with one of the captured patrolmen for the death of citizen Javier Ordóñez.
In communication with EL TIEMPO, Vegara said that he had listened to Juan Camilo Lloreda’s version and that later he began to receive threats that he already brought to the attention of the authorities. Also, gave reporters of this newspaper the audio with the version of the patrol car.

His defense, led by the criminal lawyer Jesús Libadier, stated that there is a conflict of powers and that the case should not be in the hands of an ordinary judge but of the Military Criminal Justice.
The judge in the case pointed out that her office is not competent to resolve the conflict of competences, but rather the Disciplinary Chamber of the Superior Council of the Judiciary.
